Senet and New Boundary Technologies Collaborate to Provide Rapid Time to Market for IoT Applications

Allows OEMs, System Integrators and Solution Providers to Move Quickly from IoT Application Development to Commercial Deployment at Massive Scale

Portsmouth, NH and Minneapolis, MN – July 20, 2017 —
Senet, the first and fastest growing provider of secure, public, low-power wide-area networks (LPWANs) and Managed Network Services for Internet of Things (IoT) applications supporting the LoRaWAN™ protocol and New Boundary Technologies, a leading IoT application service provider, today announced a partnership to integrate New Boundary Technologies’ RemoteAware™ Enterprise IoT application service with Senet’s standards-based IoT network.

The RemoteAware IoT application service provides private-label branded IoT applications for equipment OEMs, distributors, system integrators and solution providers. A rich set of out-of-the-box capabilities deliver ready-made applications for a broad range of sensors and equipment, eliminating the need for software developers to build applications. Through a pre-built connector, applications built with RemoteAware can easily connect to Senet’s LoRaWAN, providing seamless access to the fastest growing Low-Power Wide-Area IoT Network built for global scale.

“Removing the complexities that slow the development of IoT applications and deploying connected devices at scale is of primary importance to our organization,” said Bruce Chatterley, CEO & President at Senet. “Having simplified network connectivity, device provisioning and management and application integration, our customers can rapidly scale from initial deployments to millions of connected devices, building a competitive advantage that is not available with any other LPWAN technology.”

Senet and New Boundary Technologies are both presenting at the upcoming 2017 InfoAg Conference being held July 25 – 27, 2017 at the St. Louis Union Station Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri. Senet is exhibiting in booth #64 and will be presenting on the various types of networks available to support IoT applications, with a focus on Low Power Wide Area technologies for smart agriculture and water management, while New Boundary Technologies will be presenting on the role of application software services in the IoT ecosystem. Both presentations will illustrate how farmers can benefit from the use of low cost sensor technology and network connectivity to detect soil moisture, crop growth, livestock feed levels and remotely manage and control connected harvesters and irrigation equipment, among other key functions.

“Providing customers with robust and secure end-to-end IoT applications can be a challenge for sensor and equipment manufacturers, distributors and solution providers,” said Kim Pearson, CEO of New Boundary Technologies. “By combining Senet’s IoT connectivity services with New Boundary Technologies’ RemoteAware Application Service, new applications can be brought to market at very low cost and with unprecedented speed.”

Senet’s public, standards-based and highly secure LPWAN currently offers coverage in a total of 225 cities and 23 states across the United States (see live coverage map), and has the ability to support millions of devices across hundreds of industries. Senet also recently announced its Managed Network Services for IoT (MNSI), which enables network providers to deploy LoRaWAN IoT services on their physical assets, supervise the network infrastructure, manage connectivity and control roles and access rights within a reliable and scalable solution.

About Senet, Inc.
Senet, a contributing member of the LoRa Alliance™, is the first and fastest growing provider of secure, public, low-power wide-area networks (LPWANs) and Managed Network Services for Internet of Things (IoT) applications supporting the LoRaWAN™ protocol. LPWANs enable value-driven solutions that can unlock immediate ROI by enabling devices to connect over very long ranges (approximately 15 miles) while delivering very long battery power life (approximately 10 years) for an extremely low total cost of ownership. For applications that require low cost, low power, and long range, the Senet network and Managed Network Services have distinct advantages over cellular, Wi-Fi, and other emerging connectivity technologies for the IoT market.
